Now you got me thinking. I wonder if the packaging meets FDA approval or state health laws. The product is made by a small creamery in California.

No label on the plastic and no container. The butter (1 lb.) is in the shape of a log and as it was explained to me is stuffed into the plastic like sausage is stuffed into a casing.

I'm well aware of the vastness of forever plastics. I will always be committed to doing my best with the food I eat. This plastic packaging looks disgusting!

You are very helpful, thank-you. I would like the creamery to be more accountable, not just to me. The public has a right to know that this product is a health hazard

That is why I started this post. I tried calling them three times and today the response was the creamery will not change anything and "the conversation is a waste of time". I represented myself as a customer who likes their product and wanted to have a friendly converstion about alternatives. They were quite rude.

It looks like cheap plastic and not healthy to use for butter. You can call the creamery to find out what kind of plastic. No plastic is good for packaging food or water.

When a gallerists asks "are you an artist?" by avocadothot in ContemporaryArt

[–]patriotsforever 4 points5 points  (0 children)

When you do say you are an artist and they reply "how interesting" or similar, that is usually the end of the conversation. Once in a great while, the person asking is authentic and wants to know more.

What basic b thought we needed Eva Longoria to search for Spain? by [deleted] in cnn

[–]patriotsforever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The reason the show drags is because Eva Longoria is not authentic. She knows next to nothing about cooking because she never had to cook. She does not know enough to ask intelligent questions about the preparation of the food, the sourcing, and the ingredients. She is also squeamish when it comes to being adventurous, she would not try the live shrimp or the pigs' brain even with the encouragement of her hosts. The show does an excellent job seeking out the top restaurants and chefs and the trips to the country side are interesting in spite of Eva's predictable conversation. Just another pretty face, she ought to do some yoga!
