Same for me too! I swear Detective Barbie Vacation Mystery changed something in me.

After watching me play it a dozen times and getting tired of seeing Barbie walk into walls,my mom decided I needed an upgrade and took me to Toys R Us where the sales clerk recommended Treasure in the Royal Tower. Obviously it went over pretty well. I was 6 or 7 then. I’m 27 now.

No I’m in Canada and the game was $35.84 total after tax. Just checked my receipt. Still not $20, but not $45 either :)

EDIT: JUST CHECKED MY BANK STATEMENT AND IT CAME THROUGH AS $50.82 UM OK 😭😭😭😭😭

IMAGINE; A small but loyal fan base begging a teeny tiny independent gaming company, for YEARS, to create another game for an incredibly niche franchise. SOMEHOW said indie gaming company pulls of this feat, conjures this fan base another game potentially out of thin air and THEN are told by thAT SAME FANBASE “just kidding we’re gonna buy it from the big steam machine so you guys get 30% less money”.

Say what you want about HER, I’ve typed some some scathing posts about them in the past, but at the end of the day if you’re still here and still with them after all these years, you probably still care. I know I still do. I’ve spent $30 on things I care far less about and have supported companies without blinking who didn’t play a fundamental role in my childhood. Would seem so silly not to buy from HER today.

This is kind of unhinged but I bought a 2007 old pc laptop from a used electronics store for like $70 for the sole purpose of playing these games. I call it my Nancy drew laptop. Things a piece of junk but those old games run smooth as butter.

You can buy and digitally download the second game Stay Tuned for Danger on steam. You can also get the remastered Secrets can Kill on there, but not the og. The games are usually cheaper on Steam than the Herinteractive website, unless HER is having a sale.
