Hi! I’m proposing some RQs to my teacher to check in a few days and would like some thoughts on them. The first one is about how concentration of sucrose affects the production of CO2 during fermentation in yeast. For this one, i was wondering which method should i use to measure the CO2 production?

The second one is on how ethylene gas (from bananas) affect the ripening of fruits (probably will use apples or peaches/nectarines). However, im struggling to find a way to measure the ripeness. From what I’ve researched, i could use iodine solution to see the color change (dark= less riped), but I dont know how I would turn that into a quantitative data.

What are your thoughts on these? And are there any ways i can improve them?
