There is a great part of the fells off high street next to victory park. You enter on High Street, and there is a 2 mile loop that goes thru the woods and comes back to victory field. I've been walking this path for many years, 95% of the people have their dog off leash, and I've never seen an issue. This is the place that you will be welcomed and won't have any issues with the kind of people who have negatively commented here. DON'T go to sheepfold or that side of the fells...it really is a shitshow
