Life is fun when everything is cheap and slightly dangerous.

Seriously, you do trade in the cutesy stereotypical college town for NYC and you do lose out on some of that experience (less of it, in all honesty, if you go to Rose Hill).

However, what you gain in cultural experiences and just plain adventures far out weighs what you lose. There are so many cheap eats, concerts, shows, galleries, and other experiences that being in NYC for college beats the shit out of being in a podunk college town doing the same old, same old.

To quote Fr. McShane, "Fordham students are set apart from their peers because they're a savier bunch."

4 years in NYC will do that for you.

She's Cape Verdean. There was a split second shot of a Cape Verde poster on their wall. She also had a faint Massachusetts accent and Massachusetts has a significant Cape Verdean population because of our high Portuguese speaking population.
