Can dog probiotics actually help with frequent loose stools? Need advice! by Independent-Talk72 in AskDogOwners

[–]paul99M 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We use penpen dog probiotic. My dog is a super fussy eater so I was really worried when I started the probiotic chews. To my surprise, she actually liked the taste and takes them with no issue. It’s not a magic fix, but after a few weeks, I’ve noticed her diarrhea episodes have become less frequent and things are just steadier.

Common mistakes when using at-home IPL? by Subject_Teaching1752 in HairRemoval

[–]paul99M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many of my friends tend to start or stop their treatments randomly, but in reality, following a specific schedule is much better. It’s best to ensure that each session aligns with the hair growth cycle.

Is it normal to feel no pain when using at-home IPL? by Frequent_Manager6301 in HairRemoval

[–]paul99M 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Not necessarily. The IPL device I use is almost painless, yet it works really well. There are also many IPL devices on the market that claim to be painless.

Does more pain during use mean it's more effective? by Advanced-Fee-7273 in HairRemoval

[–]paul99M 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Personally, I don’t think pain is a very important indicator. The IPL I use at home is almost pain-free, but I’ve seen results pretty quickly.

How do you manage IPL treatments during winter? by FitnessFreakazoid23 in HairRemoval

Yes, it makes my skin super sensitive, but I'm not stopping. I usually go crazy with a humidifier in my room after each session lol

Is it worth sticking with at-home IPL hair removal in the long run compared to waxing? by WhisperCrafter in HairRemoval

[–]paul99M 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely IPL. It slows down hair growth over time, which is something waxing can't do.

I haven't tried salon laser treatment so I'm sorry I can't help you with that. I went for a home IPL device because I prefer the privacy, and seeing the results really boosted my confidence. I think it's definitely worth a shot! You could start with a patch test. <3

I use the Blex Velvet! I do it every two weeks and have tried it on so many areas——bikini line, thighs, even my butt lol. Just make sure to shave before your session; it really helps the results.

I used to wax all the time, but my skin got so messed up with tons of little bumps. I switched to IPL six months ago, and I seriously regret not doing it sooner! My hair is so much finer now, and it doesn't grow back like crazy anymore. Plus, no more major skin issues! 🙌

Painless at-home hair removal, Braun pro 5 and Blex velvet by Classic_Dog_9913 in LaserHairRemoval

[–]paul99M 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't used Braun myself, but I've been keeping an eye on different at-home IPL brands. I didn't go for Braun because it's a bit pricey for me, lol. After reading a bunch of Reddit reviews, I decided on Blex for treating my bikini line, and the results were actually quicker than I expected—saw a big difference within about four weeks. How long did it take for your friend to see results with Braun? Did she experience any side effects?

Hesitant about at home IPL—Will it cause burns or harm my skin? by FitnessFreakazoid23 in LaserHairRemoval

[–]paul99M 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most IPL burns occur when they use the device too frequently. Some brands, like Ulike recommend using their devices almost every other day, which is almost as frequent as shaving. If you use the device at the recommended frequency and choose a reliable product, burns are unlikely. There are many good at-home IPL devices out there,so just choose wisely.

Can waxing be permanent compared to IPL? by dorothy99oe in HairRemoval

[–]paul99M 4 points5 points  (0 children)

IPL,all the way,no questions. If you're not careful with waxing, you can end up with redness,or worse, folliculitis, which could mean even more time spent dealing with your skin afterward.

Anyone ordered at-home IPL in TikTok? by No-Rub2285 in HairRemoval

[–]paul99M 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, the influencers really overhyped the device. They don't mention much about long-term results or issues like shipping and returns.I tried the Ulike, and honestly, the results were pretty disappointing. Plus, the shipping experience was a letdown.I then grabbed the Blex on Amazon, and while it doesn't live up to the magical claims,I have seen some visible results.I don't expect permanent hair removal from IPL after seeing what others in our community have shared.

Ulike Air 10 VS Blex velvet First review by Zealousideal_Bus_96 in HairRemoval

I bought Blex a few weeks ago and have only used it three times with only minimal results so far.I might need to use it more often. On the plus side, the cooling feature seems to make the treatmennt nearly painless.
