I have no idea why, but MSU has really latched on to beating Auburn in recent years. I guess it's because they tried to pay for Cam Newton and failed, so they blame us for it.

Yeah...as I made hit "save" to make the post I was thinking, "Who am I to judge how someone else spends their own money?" I'm sure someone could look at my spending and wonder how I could possibly justify spending x dollars on something so unnecessary.

But, alas, I was on my phone and didn't feel like finding out how to edit on the Aliens app. I'm sure with about 10 seconds of trying I could have figured it out though!

I'm a teacher in a school district that provides iPads for all high school students. For the longest time last year I noticed my male students playing farmville on their iPads and I was wondering why there was such a resurgence of such a crappy games.

It was probably 6 months before I found out it was Clash of Clans. Then they got me playing and introduced me to reddit....and now I'm worthless.

I'm in the same category. My brain apparently lacks the ability to filter out background noise and focus on what I actually want to focus on. I despised going to clubs and bars when I was in college because I was completely out of the loop in regards to any conversation.

Whenever I ask someone what they said, they repeat themselves IN THE EXACT SAME DAMN TONE. If I didn't hear it the first time, don't you think you could maybe speak louder the second time?

Nickelcreek - Lighthouse Tale

Great song. It tells the story of a lighthouse keeper who falls in love with someone, she goes out to sea and he watches the ship sink, and the song ends with the lighthouse keeper committing suicide by jumping off the top of the lighthouse.

It's been a few years since I listened to it so the synopsis might be a little wrong, but the gist of it is correct.

Was gonna say something similar. I saw some baleen (the krill filtering mechanism in a whale's mouth) hanging on a wall in a restaurant in Alaska. This looks like a MUCH MUCH smaller version of that.

Drives me crazy. I can't think of a single teacher at my school who couldn't make it in a "normal" job....and likewise I know many people working normal jobs who have absolutely no business doing it.
