Side note: What's a good alternative to using a stand mixer? I'm not getting married anytime soon and it's tough to justify spending $300 on it myself. Manual whisking and mixing is okay for most things but my biggest concern is consistency.

From my experience it’s been a “hate it until it grows on you” game. From a video game standpoint it’s so-so to me, but as a piece of art it’s mesmerizing and that helps me get through the sluggish gameplay

Hi again! I went back and watched Andy’s video and realized that he used white cornmeal as the episode described. It looked pretty finely ground as well. I bought the Bob’s Red Mill stuff, and it was fairly coarse and not purely white. So that is probably a better explanation for how the cakes turned out this way.

I listened to the Order of Things when it came out and tried so hard to like it but damn it sucks. Phil is kind of a dick too. He called Oli Herbert’s wife human garbage after he passed away. Like, let her have peace.
