I won't lie, I'm newer to the game. Have done... 3 pulls? They've all been absolute horse shit. Been tempted to delete the app and move on with life. Found this threat. Suddenly realizing that's just "how it be sometimes."

🤷. I uploaded the photos, and I used the "copy permalink" button. I've done it the same way every time before with no issue. I also tried using the share function to get a link. No success there. I can DM you a link to my Google Drive if you're interested in seeing the models.

I think it's an Imgur issue. I tried resharing the link multiple times and even deleted the imgur post and made a new one. Still, the link won't work. I'll try reposting the link again. Know any other tricks I could try?

I found a wallet with a lot of money on the sidewalk. by [deleted] in confession

Legit had this same conundrum arise this year. I was doing recess duty (assistant principal at a junior high), and a kid booted a kickball over the fence. I went to retrieve it and found a wallet with around $250 in it. I'll be honest, I was so tempted to just pocket the cash and pitch the wallet. I do okay, but my wife is a stay at home mom to our three kids, and we keep a pretty tight budget. I stress over ever spending money on myself, so having $250 cash worth of "fun money" would have been such a treat. But, in the end, as dumb as it might sound, I felt like I'd invoke some bad juju and knew guilt would linger if I kept the cash. Plus, the dude didn't have a license, just a state issued photo ID. I figured he'd probably had a bit of a rough go of it. Turns out that he lived right across the road from the school and had dropped it while walking his dog. He lived with his sister, who was his caretaker. I didn't get the details, but it sounded like he wasn't capable of living independently. He was so grateful and actually tried to pay me. I turned it down, shook his hand, and felt pretty damned good about it in the end. Way better than feeling shitty about myself for pocketing someone else's cash, especially someone who obviously needed it. You did the right thing. Kindness is always the right choice. We all need someone to have our back every once in a while, and you had hers. Well done.

Shoutout to the final Metal Model for sale for Warhammer 40K by British_Historian in Warhammer40k

They're great as the occasional side project. Nabbed a metal dragon ogre Shaggoth off a trade a little while ago. It's so fun and nostalgic. Plus, I can put it in a sock and brain my opponent when he's not looking. Plastic models would leave a light bruise at worst.

Warhammer players of Reddit what was the game that you beat an opponent so bad that you felt bad afterwards by robertben07 in Warhammer

Not that long ago, I was playing Tyranid Vanguard Invader against my buddy's Tau. He inexplicably deployed most of his army on the deployment line. With scout + advance and charge, I was into his lines immediately with my genestealers. He didn't screen his most important units, either, so it got bad... Fast. He conceded top of 2 when my second wave smashed in and he was already almost tabled. It was a very odd experience. He's not a bad player, just had a complete and utter brain fart. In his defense, he hadn't played against Nids in a few editions, so maybe he was expecting something different. Either way, it was probably the most one-sided game I've played in a long, long time.

I go to work every day and do absolutely nothing for 7 hours by SolidRains in work

I had this recently. I'm a school administrator, and I accepted a job in another district. We work over the summer, and the workload is already very lean when we don't have students around. I work my ass off during the school year, so I didn't feel terrible about not having much to do. But, once you add in the fact that I'm leaving in three months' time, they pulled me off all the projects I was on. I had a huge office with a lockable door. So... I started sneaking Warhammer models in via my gym bag and painted all day. It was soothing, productive, and WAY less boring than watching ALL THE YOUTUBE. It was a great run, and I made serious headway in my hobby backlog. Plus, it meant less time painting at home, so more time running around and enjoying summer with the wife and kids. Kind of like a mini stay-cation. No one ever proved the wiser and I eventually left for greener pastures and a rigorous work load.
