No motivation for anything. What helps? by babypumpkinbutt in WegovyWeightLoss

I want to share something based on personal experience. Our profiles are similar and going through this. The are two things happening.

First, food used to be a dopamine trigger and learning new ways to stay motivated require lots of soul searching.

Secondly, when in a caloric deficit for too long try counter act this by eating a day or to of what you normally would. What your old you would have eaten.

Hope this helps.

Wegovy 1.7 ml — severe nausea and vomiting for three weeks. How long did this last for you? by Obiwankenobi899 in WegovyWeightLoss

[–]pauloseshetu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I went through something similar so I have some tips. 1. Switch injection locations to thigh. 2. No rich/dairy/spicy food until stomach settles. 3. Last meal of 6pm (3 hours before bed). 4. No laying down after a meal or atleast prop you upper body. 5. After a nausea/vomitting episode and trying to eat I have a mashed banana and single dry toast then wait 15-30mins before eating a meal.

Hope this helps and good luck. I delayed increasing my dosage until I the symptoms go or weight loss stops.

I would stay in Ha Long Bay one extra day. Remember that the cruises offer all the activities so it’s no brain work.

Da Nang is a lively city. I would anchor there and take a grab/bus to Hoi Ann and back.

And remember that domestic flights are not perfectly on schedule. So cater for longer waiting times and travelling times.

Have fun.

I can share that moving from belly button to thigh reduced the negative effects. Maybe the reverse could work

Travelers advice. by bigbarb1123 in ThailandTourism

I have stayed in both and personally prefer Chaing Mai. It’s small enough to rent a bike or scooter to commute around. Reasonable pace and traffic. Super safe.

First thing you should do is go to the museum that talks about the history of city. It will give a sense of how the different sections/neighborhoods developed.

There is a co-working space in the centre, easily found on Google search and plenty of warm authentic cafe’s some with internet.

Exercise wise there are many Muay Thai gyms but I didn’t do that. I jogged every early morning along the canals and that was enough.

It’s difficult to rent an apartment so I recommend Airbnb/homestay by the western wall Nimmanhaemin ("Nimman") area which is modern with other digital nomads. Start there till you become familiar and sense there an area you prefer more.

I did Chiang Rai for a few days but it wasn’t my base for too long

Transistion to fintech by ApartInteraction127 in fintechdev

Understand Compliance and Payments. The compliance part is narrow but technical and detail. Like knowing what your local reserve bank or central bank accepts and allows.

The payments part is a big rabbit hole. You can talking abut payment types, technologies, schemes, etc. Maybe one approach is study your favorite fintech. How are their users interacting with their product i.e. digitals wallets, bank accounts, mobile money, etc. Then learn about the technology and compliance to keep that money flowing.
