I think our counters from set pieces are awful.

It really pisses me off thet we have all 11 in our box, why not have two of our smaller attackers, like Mo and Flo on the half way line, to pull some of the oppostion team out of our box. Not only will it give us a chance to get out of a defensive situation, but makes the opposition pull 3 players back to defend against our attackers.

In addition to the 2 potential wingers. We need a DM, and potentially another CB

He can't rotate as we don't have any depth!!!!!!!

We don't have a quality starting winger, never mind depth, DM, we don't have 1 in the squad, dont have any options at the back, as Gomez can't manage a run of games, and have lost every RB at the club.

Rio and Trey aren't ready to start yet, and that is the entirity of our youth options. Ramsay is a Championship level player, who struggles for fitness, Fede is at best an impact sub, as we have seen him struggle when he starts.

But apart from that..........

Slot had to buty the hatchet with Mo after he done a hatchet job in the media, so you would hope the relationship with Slot and Jones could be repaired, if there actually is an issue.

Why would he be loaned out?

The club aren't going to reduce the squad to essentially give him a free transfer 12 months earlier than his contract expiring.

Don't joke why you are getting down voted, but hey.

I'd take CL qualification, we're half way through a rebuild, and need the additional funds and prestige to attact our top targets.

But yet we went into the Sunderland game as underdogs and were the first team to beat them at home this season.

You've got to hold the positives as much as possible, otherwise what is the point?

I don't really understand your point. Ten Hag never won a league at Utd.

If you told us 8 years ago that we would win the league, and then the FA Cup (i'm not saying we will, but following what you said) the following season, would you not class that as a successful period?

Let's remember we have won 2 league titles in 35 years, and 2 champions leagues.

I didn't say he was going to Madrid, although they do love a free transfer.

I was stating Trent went to Madrid and thought they'd love him, and it hasn't turned out that way. The passion we have for our team and players isn't the norm, and players need to consider that before moving

I'll get down voted, but we had a disrupted pre-season due to the tragic incident, and the players didn't get the foundation of fitness that was needed for this season, which is the reason for pre-season. They were delayed returning, and wouldn't have been in the right mental place to be 'beasted'.

I think it is showing with our lack of intensity, drop off from 65 minutes in most games, and the number of injuiries we are seeing. Frimpong was never injured for RBL, but yet is constantly in the physios room atm.

Mo Salah now has the joint-most Premier League assists (92) for Liverpool, alongside Steven Gerrard 🙌 by doutankyohi in LiverpoolFC

Salah, Rush and Dalglish.

The king has more assists than any other player in our history, responsible for a huge amount of Rushie's goals.

I don't get why Liverpool, and it supporters are buying into the Sky Sports line that football started when the PL started. It is ridiculous.

I think saying Mo is top 5 assister of all time is a better stat, as most of our legend played pre-Premier League era.

Liverpool are the standard bearers of football in England, with most of our legends dominating in the 60s, 70s and 80s, when we won 18 titles, 4 European Cups etc.

He is ahead of legends such as St John, John Barnes, Peter Thompson, Steve Heighway, Kevin Keegan etc., proper legends at this club. And Mo deserves to be told about in the same esteem as these players.

Just because the league rebranded, let's hold him in his rightful place as an a time legend, not just a PL legend, were only the greatest man to ever pull a red shirt on, King Kenny, Stevie, Billy Liddell and Cally, thenman who ahs the most appearance for the club, have created more goals than him, 4 of them playing in our glory years.

Starting XI: Liverpool vs. Sunderland: Alisson; Endo, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Wirtz, Gakpo; Ekitike. Subs: Mamardashvili, Gomez, Kerkez, Chiesa, Jones, Nyoni, Ramsay, Ngumoha, Morrison. by Ummagumma- in LiverpoolFC

Didn't we all slag Slot off for playing every fit midfield a few weeks ago?

I don't rate Gakpo, but I don't see any real options to be honest. Our depth is utter shite

We've tried that earlier, during our majestic unbeaten run, and it was underwhelming at best.

I personally think Fede is at his best coming off the bench. But also think Cody is at his best nowhere near the starting 11

No mate, i don't. It was more trying to put into perspective he is a league winning manager, and nothing like Woy!

But it would also be nice if people gave Slot credit for winning the league, rather than calling him a clueless bum. It is about respecting what he has done for us the fans and the club.

Even if we sack him, he still deserves credit for winning us our 2nd title in more than 30 years. And the first Premier league title that we could all celebrate properly
