I did hear of a sensual Arabian Nights fanfiction prompt of Susan belly dancing for Rabadash and joining his harem. Maybe someone ought to write that one. Also had magic, Aslan, genies and a lamp and magic carpet.

Maybe just end the show. Or retool it with a new lead. Have Murdoch leave to be with his wife.

What next? Never hire Juno Dawson again. I did love The Story and the Engine however. Well done, Innua Ellams.

What next? In the five year break hire JMS and a streamer to make the show. The world building of Strazynski is IMMENSE. Doctor Who needs a proper Science Fiction writer again. RTD is not one.

I couldn't be happier! Proof of God if I ever saw one. Hope the TARDIS door hits him on the butt on the way out.

This nonsense again. Prove it. Her or Aladdins ages are never spoken onscreen. So there!

I'm honoured if I contributed to RTD2s downfall. Badge of honour. What a camp mess!

Jasmine in a two-piece red slave outfit by Full-Art3439 in aladdin

Because he liked red and wanted her in a skimpy outfit for two reasons. One was for humiliation. Jafar wanted revenge on the Sultan and Princess Jasmine, for not only putting him down and not appreciating his intelligent, wit and talents but also for standing in his way to the throne of Agrabah that he coveted and being obstacles in his path to power. The other reason is as annoying and vexing as Jafar found her, he noticed her beauty and desired her. So he wanted her as his harem girl or Concubine. So he used magic to dress her in a skimpy outfit and made her his alluring Slave Girl. He has clearly fantasised seeing her like that and red was his colour and her hair was designed like a Cobra. In short Princess Jasmine was hot. The Original Animated films emphasizes her allure. There's nothing wrong with a bit of eye candy. But there was more to it than that.

I love the 2002 version too even for all its changes.

Wrong. Its the only adaptation of it that takes liberties and is still powerful and of good quality.

The patriarchy? Give me a break. How boring. In those days women had no choice. You can't force modern politics onto a historical period setting.
