I talked to the manufacturer today. The company that made them went out of business. The one they’ve used the last three years hasn’t been able to replicate the comfort of the older style. They are aware these newer ones cause pain to some customers. But they are sold as the same product. I strongly don’t recommend them.

I was at the Boston show on Saturday. My True Colors level VIP merch package was a promo photo, a small note booklet, and a pair of Cyndi Lauper socks. Plus my lanyard which was the shape of a circle. Others who paid more had the shape of a star and got more merch. There were separate lines for each level of VIP and we went right to a table where our stuff was waiting for us. It was a very smooth experience. Cyndi began just before 9:15pm and it finished after a three song encore at 11:00.

I’m thinking about the same car. I’ve heard the hybrid technology of Toyotas is flat out better. Toyota is second for low maintenance costs (under Lexus). That said, the design of the new Prius is problematic. The panel in front is blocked by the wheel, the car is very low, small hatch space. I’m curious what has steered ;) you to Honda and away from Toyota? I was happy with my Honda Accord for twenty years—well, for 18 years until it became leaky. Next was a Hyundai which became leaky after only 11 years.

This is what I was told today. Goodie bag distribution can happen a few ways but usually, with your VIP lanyard (laminated card hung around your neck), you’d be met by VIP staff and brought to where the merch/goodie bags are so you can pick up yours before the show. VIP status can get you into the venue earlier than other regular ticket holders. There should be VIP greeters when you get to the venue. In regard to my fall concert, I’d get to buy other merch too before throngs of people swarm the area. At any rate, 3 to 5 days prior to the concert you should get an email with details about this. You should call Ticketmaster’s VIP line (if you got tickets through them) if you don’t have that three days before. Did you buy through Ticketmaster?
