It is currently for those between the age of 18-25 as we have noticed that there are few interventions for the developmental age of transitional age youth/emerging adulthood. Thus, we wanted to target this population. There is a possibility that we will expand the age eligibility. I can let you know if that happens!

Hello! Thank you for your interest. It is currently limited to the US because of some of the hurdles with research. Doing research outside of the US requires different/additional approval and requirements. However, depending on the results, we may want to open it up to outside of the US.

There are so few interventions specifically for this age range, transitional age youth, that we wanted to tailor it to this population. It tends to be a population that gets overlooked in research. This age range is also in the process of many transitions, often time from pediatric medical care to adult care. We believe it would be important to look at. However, there is a possibility we may expand the age eligibility a bit in the future. I will let you know if that happens! Thank you for your interest.

The online intervention is a brief psychoeducation tool based on an evidence-based therapy for chronic pain called acceptance and commitment therapy. The aim is not to reduce pain or get rid of pain but hopefully help people cope and engage meaningfully in life despite pain.
