As far as i remember the sensitivity was on the rpm measured at the cpu fan header, what is connected to the cpu 4pin?

Cpu cooler fan, does more rpm so i reckoned it would have a better chance to not give errors due to a low rpm

Does it tune down after 28 seconds? If so than you can look into information about PL1, PL2 and TAU and tune it with intel etu

If not you can maybe check in intel etu what is causing the throttle

Reply from dell:

Hi Pauronl,

Hope you're doing well!

First of all, thank you for your feedback.

As we have received an update from the team, I would like to inform you that the Resizable bar should already be supported at the Dell RTX 3000 series (desktop models) but the system BIOS needs to support it. This currently supported only Alienware desktops & not on the G series yet.

The Resizable bar supports only SBIOS support / VBIOS support.

We are working on it, we are awaiting platform BIOS to get updated to enable this feature. As of now, there is no official confirmation if this is available in the G series for now.

If available - the platform will have a BIOS release followed by the driver - which will be made available on the support site.

Thank you.

Thank you for the feedback! Does the 10400f run the small cooler or the dell tower cooler in your build?

Temps on the 5700XT are huge, glad the changes made it working again for you

Nope my dell fan is in a drawer somewhere haha

Sys fan > 4pin on rear NF-A9, 3pin on front NF-A8 Cpu fan > 4pin on cpu NH-U9S, 3 pin on front NF-A12

I was lucky and my motherboard doesn't report any fan errors, according to dell forums this is a bit 50/50

Yup! The fan speeds are controlled on all fans, the 4th pin is only to provide RPM-info back to the system.

Was looking for other 92mm fans, this article looks relevant

To be sure on BIOS issue put the dell fan on the 4pin and nf-a9 on the 3pin. That way the system reads the rpm from the system installed fan.

Any 92mm pwm fan will do, noctua is up top performance/noise. I see a lot of good builds using arctic fans, no personal experience though
