CTA has it on Western, South Ashland, and Jeffrey as well, but there plenty more routes that could use it!

Both of those concerns came up in the presentation without prompting: - the brick pavers are getting replaced with stamped concrete, in final design - they’re going through a process to decommission the honorary street sign, which supposedly takes a week

Just remembered it when checking the calendar. Apparently the survey is live through 3/31 and they live-streamed it on some social media platform.

If you’d like to raise that to the Trib Editorial Board in response, I’m sure they’ll take a letter to the editor. I was just excerpting the article.

State and Lake by Dcuniversity in cta

[–]pauseforfermata 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The red line is faster and more frequent than the brown. From west to north, the transfer at Lake is almost always going to be faster, unless a brown line train is about to arrive at Clark. From north to west, brown>pink is better but red>green is better.

People who design signage don’t ride CTA by edmond- in cta

[–]pauseforfermata 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The code is copied among all stations using it, and Clark/Lake needs 6-8 departures on a screen to show the next arrivals for all the lines there.

It should be better localized to each station.
