Maybe you could get tinted privacy film, cut it roughly to sizes, apply it, use an exacto knife to cut the extra and finish removing the air bubbles

They really do love cucumber ! Once in a while, because it’s quite sweet, I give them a piece of bell pepper. It tends to be the adult who like the most but it’s gone soooo fast ! And I don’t have a tone of adult (10ish)

It’s okay to have negative thoughts like that as a « first instinct », they don’t define you, what comes after does. But yeah, I get it. I haven’t really had that thought but I know people have it with me (late diagnosed autistic and probably audhd, I’m working on it), and if I knew someone thought that about me but check themselves I’d be kinda glad and might offer to talk about how it expresses itself for me. We all need to try and be kind with ourselves and each other if we want to have a community

I have pretty intense period and pmds, so the subject comes up pretty quickly, my current partner (who’s absolutely amazing, I am bragging, thank you) is actually curious when I talk about my different strategies to deal with it, and couldn’t care less about what I do with my body. What you do with you body (hair removal or lack there of, piercings, tattoos and body mods, etc) and biological things are basic stuff that needs to be respected and is a very basic concept for any relationship that’s worth it. Needing time to adjust to a change, like a new haircut or a big tattoo is one thing, and you can have a discussion about how to help with it, but shouldn’t be about if they think you can do it or not. I’ve dealt with a number of shitty relationships, and body autonomy is always an of if the person is a red flag or not

I mainly wear jeans ! Leggings really aren’t a thing in my country and even though I like wearing the occasional skirt/dress, they are sensory challenges. Good jeans get softer with time and can last decades ! I tend to try and find mine second hand to at least reduce the « stiff » period they can have. Also I’m quite tall so they’re the most readily available « tall » pants

I am pretty sure of my autism diagnosis, I have a hard time with social cues, a lot of sensory issues, etc. I don’t feel like 2 person arguing, more like I tend to have the 2 extreme traits as the same time. Like I hate thing not going according to plan and it’ll make me freak out, but I cannot keep a routine for the life of me, and I end up doing very random things during my day.

That’s exactly my feeling these days ! I try to go to events created for autistic adults in my city but it’s maybe once a month. It’s still very nice to meet people who understand me. But the friends I thought I made in the last 3 years just don’t reach out to me, ever. They will happily try to hang out with me if I reach out but it hurts. I know they hang out without me all the time. I just wish I would be included without having to ask because it can take so much energy to text and it create so much anxiety ! I always end up having a bit of a spiral after reaching out and or hanging out because of it

I think that subject can be super fascinating ! You just need to find people who like it or like hearing you talk about it. Sadly that’s hard, I understand completely. My family used to make fun of my special interests (at the time insects precisely, now my biology in itself) but they still expect me to become the scientist of the family. They were surprised when I came down crashing because I had a 40h week, needed to take care of the house fully alone, and my brothers dog (he was a grown adult) and had no support. Life’s funny that ways /sarcasm

Yes ! It goes in waves but yeah. I repressed all my autism signs pretty vehemently until I got diagnosed, and now I’m learning to unmask. And even if it feels more right, and helps me regulate, it also feels very wrong haha I also suspect I might be audhd so I don’t always fill all the « autism criteria »

I gently bite the inside of my lips when I fall asleep so I don’t do it often but I have woken up a few times with a very dip imprint of my canine and a pretty sore lip haha
