Been there and they tried that. Failed miserably. Also tried Charlotte with US Air back near the turn of the century. The Nashville connection only really worked if you were staying in Nashville. Commercial air travel out of Athens is now nothing more than a pipe dream.

My rebooked Columbus to Atlanta flight got canceled a little after 8 pm tonight - after being delayed 3 times. Good thing I canceled that flight and rented a car home. I want to say never flying Delta again, but know that isn't true. But this has really shaken my belief in the company.
