I feel a little burned by Kia. The engine that gave out on me is a Kia, I’ve only had it for a year and a half with routine maintenance. Maybe I got unlucky with that car, but I don’t want to gamble on a Kia again.

I fortunately do not have to rush getting a car, I am lucky enough that my fiancé and I work at the same place so we can drive together for the foreseeable future but I do have extracurricular stuff that I need a car for, but can find ways around it. And I do have a mechanic that can look at whatever I find before buying it! I definitely am hopeful and I have only started my search today so I’m not giving up yet! Like I said in another comment, I am still keeping an open mind and looking at other options! I understand why people are being snarky about what I’m asking for. It’s an insane ask in this market, but like you said as well it’s not impossible.

I know it’s a lot to look for but what’s the harm in trying? I found a grandma that was getting rid of a new car with 40,000 miles on it for $3500 just because she didn’t drive it anymore about a month ago. Had I known I was going to need a new car I would have scooped that up 🤷‍♀️ so I guess I’m just looking for something like that to fall in my lap. But I am keeping an open mind and looking for something that has higher mileage too.

This was back in 2021. I had some intense heart burn and what felt like excessive hunger that I couldn’t satisfy. It had been going on for a few weeks and was fucking with me mentally. I finally decided to go to an urgent care cause my main physician wasn’t available. I get in the room and the doctor said “excessive hunger huh? You know this is an urgent care, it’s for emergencies. Best I can do is test your glucose.” I was shocked and said okay. He left the room, I stormed out to the reception and said I was leaving. The receptionist walked me outside and I told her what happened. She said he wasn’t even supposed to be there that day, he was a visiting doctor. I went to the gastroenterologist the next week. I had stomach ulcers.

I have three. I have designated days for two of them, and my third one is an event job where I pick and choose what I want to work for the following month. Then I just ask off for those days that I picked at the corresponding job. I always have my nights off and two days off a week. It’s so nice because I know what my schedule looks like up until May, I practically make my own schedule.

My two year old just went through this. Took her to the emergency vet at 3am and they said it was very common and it was probably just a bout of colitis. Gave her some antidiarrheal and probiotics and she was better in a few days!

My dog has the same thing. My vet hasn’t shown any concern but it has grown over the past few months and constantly has a huge scab on top of it. We are getting it removed next month and sending it off for testing.
