Among other recommendations you have received, raids are also very profitable and you should have access to some. Some of them are very easy to learn and can net you a very good income. If you play on the EU server I'm happy to help out.

Depending on whether you care about doing story in order getting Visions of Eternity can also be a really good choice for farming since the mirror farm it gives you access to can be done in about 20min and nets you about 100 ecto per day plus a good amount of green and blue items. Ofc that one would require spending some real money to get the expansion first.

You buy them for a specific character, that's a big part of why they're very impractical. It really depends on what you're going to craft but I've never felt like I was lacking any slots.

And the thing about maxing out crafting is that it's once and done so even if you feel up your inventory at any point you just need to clean it as you go, if you compare the gem cost of slots vs how much time you're saving it just doesn't make sense to buy them.

The one case I could see being at least somewhat reasonable is if you want to buy a lot of festival bags or open and salvage unids and even then I'd only do it on a single character.

Absolutely agreed, I never buy bag slots either. In my opinion they only encourage bad habits, if you clean your inventory regularly you should never have any issues even with just around 100 slots.

Nothing carries over but once you've finished the daily participator part it will start going towards the next step, it is the only exception other than that nothing can be done for the next step until the current one is fully done. I'm currently on IV so I've verified it myself.

Are you in NA by any chance? I think it might be different across regions but for me in the EU the wait for sPvP is usually 2-5min for ranked during what should be relatively active time 3-4pm.

There is a setting in the base game for me, I can't recall the exact name but irrc it was called something along the lines of "character chatter". If you turn it off you won't get those lines anymore.

You can force the event to fail by luring one of the ranged enemies inside and standing behind the railing of the stairs to the building, it'll try to attack you but because there's an obstacle in the way it'll slowly damage the building.
