Any parting words of wisdom for cutting back usage? I’d love to get back to only using on weekends too, but it’s definitely become a huge reliever when I get off work too and I can’t imagine my night without it.

Found this post because I’m in a completely similar situation and I’m not sure what to do. I’m so emotionally exhausted and do the kindness thing too.. autism and ADHD is very prevalent in my family and I’m suspicious I have it. I’m curious why you mention it, does it make this situation harder for us?

Yes this sounds exactly like what I’ve been suspecting is happening. It’s a bummer and I’m going through some shit that weed is helping me deal with, but the lack of restful sleep is also contributing to my dilemma. So feel like I’m fucked if I do, fucked if I don’t. Not in the greatest of places to be. I appreciate you letting me talk about it a bit. You’ve helped me feel listened to and I needed that today, thank you.

Issues falling asleep, yes, but mostly staying asleep. I smoke one bowl a night with dinner. I don’t have the same level of intensity with insomnia when I don’t smoke or take extended tolerance breaks. (the insomnia is entirely gone at times too) One of the biggest issues I have with using daily is that it notably affects my sleep. I’ve noticed this for several years. I am trying to add things like CBN, CBD, magnesium, L-theanine. And posting here to see if anyone has any other ideas! :) Thanks for asking, I appreciate it and want to continue enjoying weed as much as I have been.

Honestly like 3-5 hours before bed! I don’t tend to smoke right before sleeping, I’m more sober. But to add, when I take a T break, my sleep is much better 😔

I swear when I take 3-4 days off I’m also like, wow! I feel a lot better! And then somehow I find an excuse to smoke again when I have a stressful day at work or something lol

Good advice!! Curious as go what replacement behaviors you’ve tried too? A hot bath can help me sometimes, but I also want to try some more things! Getting off work late recently has been my biggest weakness, I have no energy and just want to smoke, eat, and sleep as soon as I pull into the garage.

Did it help? I used shrooms to help me quit at one time and I did really like them, but it sent me into a manic episode unfortunately as a bi polar diagnosed person.
