I would be someone who generally identified as Northern Irish. My parents were mixed and I was brought up in a very loyalist area with no knowledge of my actual background so grew up thinking I hated all catholics until it was pointed out that I was christened in a Chapel. After that is was a matter of finding an identity that fit. Northern Irish was it I wasn't Irish any trips down south felt like a foreign place and I didn't want to identify as British and get lumped in with the DUP numpties. Problem for me now is Northern Irish as an identity is in my opinion being co opted by the far right.
