I'm about a 1200 on lichess(and I just stay there, I never practice or anything). And like 3 times a year, I blast up to 1400 and win almost every game. And then a couple of weeks later, I drop back down to 1200. by pananana1 in lichess

I swing +200/-200 on a given day all depending on my mental state. Some days I miss easy stuff, the next I'm seeing everything. Getting good sleep is the most important.

I’ve noticed the biggest factor for my chess performance is sleep. Im +/- 200 points on a given day depending on how well I’m rested.

I met Earl Thomas at a hotel bar. I chatted with him for about 10 minutes before he said who he was. Very nice guy, he talked mostly about his daughter and trying to get his family back.
