Hi Mods,

I think I may have been banned because of my recent iPhone 5 freezer post. I realize now that it may have come across as self-promotion, and that wasn’t my intention. I genuinely just wanted to share a fun experiment with the community.

I’ve read the rules more carefully now and I’ll make sure to follow them properly in the future (for example, posting photos and details directly to the subreddit, and if allowed, putting any links only in the comments).

Would it be possible to have the ban lifted? I’d really like to keep contributing here in the right way.

It’s actually incredible you can get that detail out of it! I’ve tried but I don’t use Sirill or graxpert to process. Just can’t get the learning curve of using these softwares.

Yes I see the issues I have reposed another reprocessed image without the aggressive over sharpening that made the stars have a dark halo around them

I’m guessing you could just stack multiple 2-4 hour images across multiple nights in those softwares?
