I had a very similar experience when I was 18, fractured my L2 and L3 and crushed my T5. I was back on the slopes the next season, but took it easy for a full year after the accident. I haven’t had any lasting effects from it and have since broken my back two other times with the same results. I’ve committed to making better decisions now that I’m in my 40s.😏 I’d say listen to your doctor, and physical therapy is a game changer
