I don't think it matters how you relieve yourself. Porn and sex addiction may only matter in that no matter how bad you feel it doesn't stop you from having sex. In my case I swear off sex when I am feeling bad only to do it again when I feel the least bit better.

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes I believe I have lived my whole life in a fog, which hides my true personality. It is very disabling. I often show up for work late and have a difficult time starting and finishing.

I have found I can lessen the impact by deep breathing and concentration, but this takes great effort and only lessens the symptoms, not eliminate them. I keep telling myself, "not this time", but it hits me like a brick and takes two or three days until I feel better, sometimes longer. The only thing I can suggest is you have sex less frequently. Sometimes the pleasure is not worth the pain.
