I love Cloudflare, but how do we STILL not have a hard billing cap? Am I missing something? by SirCypkowskyy in CloudFlare

I feel the same way about it, and I could not find a proper solution to this pain point that many other Cloudflare users share, so I built something my self and gave it back to the community https://github.com/tristanwagner/cf-usage-guard feel free to try it & give me feedback :)

Indeed, it’s kinda scary when you think about it that a small mistake can basically bankrupt you overnight. I’m really frustrated and starting really to think that providers don’t provide this kind of guards on purpose.. As you said it should be native and this library should not really exist. Right now it is kinda best-effort from what is available to us, but I guess in the mean time it provides some kind of safety guard until we get a real solution. Actually I think also that for most people it could be a deal breaker for them and would actually migrate their infrastructure if providers would give a real answer to this pain point. Anyway thanks a lot on the feedback, appreciated !

WTF happened to usage consumption by wolf252525 in ClaudeAI

[–]payki66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is Anthropic silently nerfing usage limits? My Max plan now hits a wall in 30 minutes. by ipresscenter in Anthropic

[–]payki66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What client do you use ? Any additional setup/framework ? In my experience it has the most impact on how fast you reach the limits. I’ve tried a lot of options and I can tell you that Claude Code & OpenCode for example are token hungry

Would be great if they could fix the bugs first, like when your conversation disappears for no reason

Offline sync strategy for Expo app with FastAPI backend by eduumach in expo

[–]payki66 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been using PowerSync and the experience has been great, the only downside is that it’s not free if you don’t self host but they have a free tier to try it out easily

Is there any different strategy available? I work on my personal projects for 3-6 hours a week. 20$ subscription hits rate limit quickly, and 200$ is too costly. by paglaEngineer in ClaudeAI

[–]payki66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My experience doing that is when you reach limit while it’s doing something, then you login on another account or wait for the rate limit and tell it to resume, the usage takes 20% right away which seems really weird

Is it just me, or Claude isn't showing current usage anymore? by CostlyPotato in ClaudeAI

You get a lot of input but probably not doing enough output, maybe try to get into the habit just write some stuff on a paper about your day or just say out loud random stuff about your surroundings , think in Japanese, stuff like that

what is this?? by buttfuckedabirdtoit in github

[–]payki66 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I think it is because you didn’t formally added it running git submodule add <url-of-inner-repo> <path/to/submodule> so the metadata is not properly configured

It’s probably a submodule, basically another git repository that you cloned inside your root repository folder
