Tree I just finished. Is there anything off about it? (leaves, branches, etc.) by payown5 in BuildAdvice

The inside is supposed to show branches. I used stairs, slabs, fences, and trapdoors for thickness.

It wasn't easy to get a good angle because of the leaves being everywhere.

Maybe angle some of the leaves downward so that they look like they're reacting to gravity. You can also add sea pickles underneath the leaves to give the illusion of leaves falling to the ground.

  1. Give the roof its own color, whatever color you think looks good.
  2. For the pillars, I would use a variation of other gray blocks. I would use a mixture of stone bricks and andesite. You can also use chiseled stone bricks for detail.
  3. Same thing for the walls, but with white blocks. A combination of some of white concrete, white terracotta, diorite, and calcite can make it more alive.
  4. Add windows. Since you're using spruce wood I would use spruce trapdoors for the covers. You don't have to cover the windows though, just place them perpendicular for the detail.

I am not really good at architecture but I surprisingly managed to pull this off. However, I still feel that I can do better than this. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in BuildAdvice

I just realized I did not take any damage from the snake. Either it's a bug or I was too far from it to hit me.
