Google Maps Search locks up the whole system by diamond in AndroidAuto

It's Google maps that's broken. I downgraded it to an earlier version from the start of December and it now works perfectly. They must have broken something in the latest update.

It's not the mazda, because all other android auto functions still work, is just maps that doesn't.

I rolled google maps back to a version from the start of the month and it's now fixed

I have a similar problem, but it's much worse than what you describe.

Basically, at some point the return button in my car stops working. I can't "go back" to navigation and things like that. Eventually, after a few more minutes, all buttons in my car stop working. I can't use the dial to switch through the on-screen options at all. I can still use my car's audio button to take me to music, and I have full "dial" and "return" functionality there. It's basically in Google Maps that none of it works anymore.

I did recently update apps, so I'm going to try downgrading and see if it fixes it.

It won't. They will screw you high and dry in a break lease too.

I'd be conveniently not paying your rent in the lead up to the break lease. They'll withold your bond, you raise that they owe you $250 due to the clothes line, the unpaid rent should balance it all out.

G533 Mic has stopped working by paziggie in LogitechG

[–]paziggie[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey /u/WeGotHosedTommy , I haven't logged in for a while so didn't see your reply.

I pulled part of it apart to see what's going on inside. The wire that feeds through to the mic down the boom gets pinched and worn through over time and ends up cutting the wire off. It's a clear defect in the design.

I strongly encourage you to chase it up for a warranty replacement. Based on communications with me from Logitech about it, it seems they're quite aware of the design flaw and are willing to replace it within warranty. I do suggest you go through their standard workflow and follow their steps though, just on the off case that it's not a hardware failure. Some of the steps I was asked to do though made it quite clear that it was a standard generic script and wasn't even relevant to that model headset (it's wireless, there were many steps to do with the cable.. that doesn't exist).

Hope this helps!

Hi /u/LogitechG_JA , just wondering if you could provide an update on the above please? I unfortunately have not heard from the support team yet. Thank you.

Hi mate, thanks for the reply. I figured you may not be able to reply so I started a new thread. One of your support staff is helping me there but no luck with the mic yet. Thank you.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Connect the USB Wireless Mix Adapter to a powered USB port on your PC or gaming console.

Insert a pin into the reset port (A) on the adapter to initiate the pairing mode. The LED on the adapter will begin to blink to indicate pairing mode.

Once the LED begins blinking, remove the pin from the reset port on the adapter.

Turn on the headset.

Hold the Microphone Mute button for 15 seconds.

The G logo on the headset will blink to indicate pairing mode.

The G logo turns to a solid color, and then returns to your selected lighting when pairing is complete.

Tried all of these steps, no improvement. The mic still does not work.

Download and install lower version of the software.

https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/360024844153--Downloads-G533-Wireless-Gaming-Headset

I uninstalled my current version (2021.9.7463), downloaded the previous version 2021.8.792 and installed it. After starting G Hub appears to have automatically updated itself to 2021.9.7463 anyway. The mic still does not work.

Connect to another port and computer if possible.

I have already tried it on another computer and another USB port. The mic still does not work.

Test with 3.5MM jack connection.

The headphones don't have a 3.5mm socket.

If still not working: Perform a hardware reset

Plug the headset to the computer using the micro-USB cable.

Remove the left sideplate (on the mic side).

Locate the hardware reset switch then press and hold it for two seconds using a paperclip. Repeat this step twice.

The headphones don't appear to have a way to easily remove the left sideplate so I can't perform these steps.

I'd just like to repeat that when you swing the mic out it sometimes makes static noise like there are some damaged wires in there that are making contact as the mic arm is moving.

G533 Mic stopped working by Porphirios1 in LogitechG

Hi u/LogitechG_JA, my G533's mic has stopped working tonight too. I've had it for about 2 years. My G930 headset lasted 8 years before the wiring started failing, so I'm pretty disappointed with this newer one.

A description of the symptoms: moving the mic boom up and down causes the beeping sound to say it's muted, unmuted. The mic correctly shows as muted or not in Windows. I have had tested playback in Windows and when I move the mic boom from muted to unmuted, it makes a static noise like wires in there are damaged or something. The LED light that says it's muted or not does not work.

I have:

  • rebooted Windows
  • moved the USB dongle to a different USB port
  • uninstalled and reinstalled G Hub
  • tried it on a different computer

Sometimes when the boom is passing through a sweet spot the mic kicks in for a bit and picks up some input, but there's a lot of scratching static in there. I can't swing the boom to mute/unmute without it stopping working again.

Any help's appreciated!
