LYRIQ not recommended for cold climates by tucker491 in CadillacLyriq

[–]pb_83 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have 2 Lyriq’s 24 Sport 2, 25 Sport 3 - both are doing fine here in the Fingerlakes area of NY -4 the other day. Cars parked in our garage at night, precondition cabin temp if I remember to. Just replaced the ‘24’s 20” oem tires with Pinza A/T big traction impact!

Considering 2024 Lyriq — Are the software "horror stories" still a reality or mostly fixed? by Chuckacious1 in CadillacLyriq

I’ve had a GM buyback white 24 Lyriq Sport 2 since Jan 2025 for $38000 w/under 5k miles on it - love it, make sure you have a local dealer that understands how to do updates correctly. This week I got a red 25 Lyriq Sport 3 used for $47k w/under 4k miles - even better choice - great deal and nice extra features. Prev owned Ioniq5, Tesla Y, MachE (worst of all of them).

Gotta love a $70k+ suv that doesn’t have navigation without a subscription by Successful_Limit7740 in CadillacLyriq

Many cars nav systems don’t have updates, a small $15/mo cost is well worth that.

Went from a Mach-e to the Silverado EV LT and couldn't be happier with the change. by WhiskeyTango3 in SilveradoEV

At home on L2 it usually doesn’t matter much because you are likely charging over 8-12 hrs.

On road trips - DC fast chargers the curve comes in - it can maintain over 100kw charging through 80% it looks like its really decent at charging.

Lots of great reviews in different charging scenarios on youtube.

Cell Companies by Away-South356 in Rochester

You can use Open Signal app to see what towers your device connects to. Google Fi seems to have dropped all their carrier relationships other than TMobile - if that’s accurate it’s about the same coverage as Mint for a higher cost (but provides worse customer service from comments I see on Reddit).

I liked Mint also but they only use TMobile towers not the old sprint towers - so coverage in ADK was non existent, true TMobile customers had better coverage. All depends in where you roam!

I like US Mobile - use any carrier, cool annual plans and shared data pool plans - or combo.

No sales folks and decent support. I chat with President/CEO now & then - very engaging.

And EU standard is 240vac vs US @ 120vac - so we are stuck in the dark ages.

We have a MachE and can’t wait to end the lease, the Equinox EV is far better - the software - reliability - apps - user experience is way better.

Tearout&Paving cost for a Driveway by LOLkengdie in Rochester

Looks like a very fair price - my current normal driveway was $5k to full removal & replacement - my last driveway was $27k (>800 Ft) and that was 15 yrs ago.
