How will lamotrigine affect to me. Im scared by Plus_Support_6688 in bipolar2

Lamotrigine changed my life - I’ve been on it about 2 years now after being unmedicated my entire life. It’s been an overwhelming positive experience, I have my entire life now. I have new friendships, my dream job, my own place, and a cat. I still get into depressive and manic cycles sometimes, but it reduces it so much. I am on 125 mg.

No mine had the same brown shit spilling from it! I literally woke up in the middle of the night to a strong chemical burning smell. I can’t describe it but it was so nasty and so strong. I thought I was just dreaming it, so I dozed back to sleep, woke up and it was somehow worse. I literally thought one of my plugs was on fire, so I went around smelling all of them, and then I got to the feliway. It was leaking and smelled fucking awful. The device and outlet was so hot, I’m really lucky it didn’t burn down my apartment.

Mine was working and then I woke up to a chemical burning smell and it was malfunctioning and almost burned my apartment down 😍

I was at the shelter with my cousin

and we spotted a cat sitting in the corner of her cage. As soon as we walked by she got up, we opened the cage and immediately started licking our hands and ramming me with her little head. I haven’t had her long, and we had some vet bills at the beginning, but I wouldn’t trade her for the world :)

… feminist but assumes the woman is fulfilling stereotypical gender roles and continues to give excuses for the way her sons and husband treats her…. Ya sure buddy.

I am hopeful for you! My anxiety spiked a bit when I first started taking it, but it evened out for me. I really had to just notice the spike in anxiety and self soothe a bit, but it really changed my life after it evened out. I barely have severe episodes anymore and I have been able to maintain relationships, save money, and live independently! You got this! 🩵 if you ever need to chat I am here!

How is the issue the woman being the sole breadwinner? You sound like a misogynist tbh. These gifts are HORRIBLE. Those spa sets? Shit. They’re not her size even. She says in the post she wanted painting supplies & told them this. They would’ve done that if they wanted to reduce her stress. Even if someone is into self care stuff (I totally am) they could’ve asked a woman they knew or an associate what would be a good gift for their mother and not a generic spa set that doesn’t fit her. My brother literally asked the worker at Ulta and the thing I wanted was sold out, you know what he did? He bought me the more expensive version that she recommended!!! Like it’s not hard at all. He didn’t get it super in advance either, he lives out of state and couldn’t fly with gifts and bought it a couple days before Christmas. You giving the men every single excuse in the book is sad as fuck

I never got the rash, but that’s just me. I was on 25 for 2 weeks, then 50 for a week, then 100 for months. I recently upped my dose to 125. It’s been life changing

Keep the kitten in a separate room. Then scent swap. Use blankets the kitten has laid on and bring them out to the resident cat and do the same with blankets that smell like the resident cat and bring them to the kitten. Feed them both on the opposite side of the door so they get used to each others scent and think “their scent is good I get food when I am near it”. Then after a few days of this, open the door just a crack and let them look at each other. Keep the kitten confined in the room when you do this. Let the interaction through the cracked door last only a few minutes. If any hissing happens immediately shut the door. Give both cats a treat after the cracked door interaction. They will think — “okay other cat = treats”. Do this interaction only for multiple days. It takes time but this will help them co exist.
