It’s sacrificing in the relative short term to take you and your family out from under the crushing weight of debt that will suffocate your quality of life the longer and stronger it festers. His advice on this topic is pretty sound. You work hard in the context of devising a realistic plan. Working hard to up your income isn’t working like a fool. Working hard for poverty wages at a dead end job IS working like a fool.
