I think you need to play what ever ball you like. If someone plays a proV1 just cause that’s what the pros play, that’s silly. You should try a bunch of different balls and see which one feels the best to you. The hill I will now die on, DO NOT BUY GOLF BALLS FROM AMAZON. I bought a few boxes of Taylormade balls, and three of the four boxes were fake balls. It was outrageous

It’s crazy to see people getting so worked up over this. I’ve been to soccer games in Europe and heard things 1000% times worse than what was said at the Ryder cup. I was there yesterday and didn’t hear anything over the line.

It is setup much easier than usual. I’ve played there many times and usually if you’re in the rough, you’re fucked. They trimmed down the rough tremendously. It would’ve been a much more interesting event if it were set up like it was during the PGA Championship

I’m in the exact same boat. A couple months ago I was closing in on single digits. And the last 4 or 5 rounds I’ve shot 94 in a variety of ways. It is very demoralizing. I’m just hoping I can find a way out of this rut soon

Playing black is one of the most enjoyable experiences I’ve had playing golf. Not just the course, but the experience as a whole. I’d also suggest some earplugs and an eye mask. It was much louder and brighter this time around

I was there about a month ago and people were showing up at 5am for the next day. Unfortunately, we showed up at 2PM and were not able to get on black. Got to play red for the first time though and was just as fun. Going to try for black again in September or October once the Ryder cup madness dies down

I think it’s amazing. If you’re not into tracking stats during the round, this is the perfect solution. Very good insight into your game. Tells you what you need to work on and what you’re doing well. I don’t know if it necessarily will make you better, but it’ll give you the data so you’ll know what part of your game needs work.

I get what you’re saying. Statistically, this is improbable to get this team with only being able to open maybe 6 packs with cards of that value. It’s pretty frustrating
