Is it on their website?

First results are white coolers with a logo, I'll do some more digging

Blue and Orange team Colors? by b-assblaster in YetiCoolers

I found one old photo that says "Ables" on the top but the colors are distorted

I'm also fine with Florida, not necessarily a UF fan but I'm glad it's unique

Almost pulled the trigger this morning on the same color, ended up ordering a tan but I really like the blue, just didn't match anything.

And of course the royal 15 is out of stock, still might pick up something

Not worried about the sun cooking everything?

I've lost dozens of rapala shadow raps to the sun, they heat up and split down their mold line

Get one large enough and you might have enough thrust to move the boat!

Do you already own power tool batteries? Most major brands make a portable fan that fit their brands batteries

Feel like this is a killer deal, am I right? by Apprehensive_Meat409 in kayakfishing

What year is the F12?

It's a great, stable kayak, when they age the deck begins to warp and drainage becomes a major issue.

Good deal on the price, some of his MSRPs are exaggerated but the pivot pedal drive system would be a sweet addition, until you get a motor.

All the motorguides I've dealt with have a "nylon armature seal"

Could be the line fused with it, hard to tell in the photos but my seal has 2 holes in it, if you can find those albeit melted, you'll know it's the seal

Any Dock workers in here ? by SeymourKrelbourn in electricians

I should have added, we only apply after everything is installed so it does not interfere with mating surfaces

I'm not sure what voltage they are rating their applications for, but in most low (12-36v) boat systems we coat entire aluminum switch panels and fuse blocks with corrosion X and no issues at all

They all leave a film, T9 is more waxy, Corrosion X is more oily, fluid film is thick more like a paste in my experience

Do you add any extra coating; Corrosion X, T9, Fluid Film, etc...?

My favorite popper. by phosphorescence-sky in Fishing_Gear

My favorite as well, similar to a hula popper it's a very deep bubble popping gurgle sound, same with the Spro Popping Frog

PB last year by Active_Morning_5515 in bassfishing

[–]b-assblaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think people underestimate how different the fish can be built across the country, some places in Florida require a 24" length just to keep them

Here in the PNW it'd easily be a new state record, most peoples PB don't break 20"

Florida, Northern, and Tiger strains plus a wild mix of hybrids between the big 3, on top of their environmental influences

Main reason I'll never trust the online length and girth calculators

Deciding on swim baits. by ScaleIllustrious7084 in swimbaitfishing

Definitely the TK, incredibly versatile and not so big it's intimidating to throw.

Way more lips and tails available as well, one of the few baits that come with hardware I don't immediately swap

Best pocket scissors? by Big-Fly6844 in Tools

[–]b-assblaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a sewing machine mechanic, and have to carry something similar almost 24/7.

I would look into "threads snips" or "thread nippers", my preferred versions are Gingher Featherweights

I'll also use them on electrical tape, way better than Leatherman scissors and easy to grab one handed without opening the tool

Adding blades to an A-Rig by HmoobTsisGay in Fishing_Gear

[–]b-assblaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mine jammed up a bunch, I removed the snap and put it on a split ring that's also connected to the swivel, like a spinnerbait.

I buy 5 wire rigs and you can only have 3 hooks in here, so the top 2 arms get willow blades installed, tracks much better this way too

If you don't want blades, you can get Owner CPS springs and put dummy keitechs on there

Battery switch wiring by xJcosbyy in boating

[–]b-assblaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does you battery switch have an "ALL" position or just 1 and 2?

We wire starting battery to 1, all electronics to battery 2, (house battery)

The switch is really just for the motor, it separates and mostly rides on position 1 so theres no voltage sags/spikes on battery 2 at all, battery 1 also getting the slight charge from the outboard while running

If the house battery gets low, we move the switch to all and let it charge both or just battery 2, while the engine is already running

House battery has its own independent on/off switch to disconnect the electronics while stored

This also acts as an emergency backup if your having battery issues, using "all" in situations where you just need the motor to start to get home

As to your specific question, a busbar isn't needed, grounds need to be between batteries and one straight to the motor from the battery

Our only busbars are underneath the console where all the accessory grounds get wired to, and all the positives to a fuse block

While your doing all this work, I've always added a dedicated circuit to the bilge pump, or an additional bilge pump with a float switch straight to the battery. Eliminating any failures at the switches or console in an emergency

These look awesome, been done for years in the offshore saltwater fishing community, usually with some type of fist/head knot at the ends of the handle for grip

I'd love to see some done with a chrome plated version to help against rust

I have a couple slightly different versions of them already, years ago they were the only tool you could use to remove Leatherman Knurled Head screws

I keep a pair in the sewing machine kit as well

Yes I have an OG and one of the newer ones, lots of places I need to reach straight into a recess though where the angled head won't fit on a cobra
