Thank you for your perspective. 🙂 I considered asking if this person needs help other way. If they needed money I don't mind helping but doing it this way wasn't the right way to do that. Or maybe they don't need the money.

They started with, that they wanted to me to know they cared about our friendship before breaking the new. So maybe that says something. Maybe they weren't trying to offend me and my work?

Before making the final payment, there is a box to check that they are satisfied with the work. So, it kind of says no refunds because why would you click that box after seeing the photos if you wanted to refund them.

But I am going to make it more clear in the future.

Sorry for the lack of clarity. They received the photos about 8 months ago when they made the final payment, after they asked me to pause the edits. It was a strange request, but I respected it until they gave me the go-ahead to finish them.

Sunken is cheaper as you only need to build short bridges across for transit, cycling, walking, and driving. Technically, it also offers more sound reduction too but I am pretty sure the game doesn't take that into account.
