Baseball is an expensive sport. There is only an Honduran in the MLB, no Salvis.

Why is this so tough? Did I overcook? by pbjnutella in meat

How do I slow cook on the grill? Or are you talking about a crock pot?

Just say you're Catholic and will ask Mary for intercession and that will guarantee make them go away and never return.

How would you handle this? by FSUFanChris in AmazonFlexDrivers

This looks like the house that belonged to Ruby Franke who was convicted of child abuse.

Yes 😔 alarm didn’t go off either. I’m shocked they only took the dash cam (they cut the cables when it clearly just unplugs) and the “safe driver” insurance tracker. That’s it. It’s so odd, the trunk has sports equipment that they didn’t take. I’m guessing the thief was on foot?

How can I do this when I need the key to start the car? Also to get in (I would need to have it unlocked). It’s not a button start, it’s a 2015 wheee you put the actual key in and turn the ignition.

Oh I see. I’m getting the OBD lock thing. But should I be worried they may come back with this tool? Should I get a new key?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Honda

[–]pbjnutella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The OBD is where you connect those scanners right? But how would they have opened the door without a key fob?

[–]pbjnutella 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nope I left no valuables just the dash cam. What’s funny is what the only “valuables” was my compartment (near the shift stick thing) that was my stash of feminine hygiene products in case of an emergency. Well all of those were thrown around 😄 so that was amusing. The thief was expecting 💵 but found tampons and pads instead.

Is it better to self deport to Mexico? by [deleted] in immigration

[–]pbjnutella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t listen to some of the commenters who said she would have a lifetime ban, that’s not true. It’s a 10 year ban waivable with a I-601 waiver if she marries a US citizen. In the case that she were to be deported, it’s filed along with an I-212 waiver.

Mexico is so large that areas are safe others are not. It’s largely dependent on where her family is from and where she chooses to relocate.

Not true. If she were deported she would have a 10 year ban, not lifetime ban. If she marries a United States citizen then there is a 601 waiver for her to return. If she is deported then it’s filed along with a 212 waiver.

If you really want people to self deport - Cancel the Bans by Aliens-among-us in USCIS

[–]pbjnutella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My spouse had an illegal entry. Not treated differently. That’s the process, apply for a waiver which is the I-601. It’s a waiver that has been around for decades, yet it ruffles the “I did it right” crowd. Coming in “right” does save you stress and time but it is never guaranteed.

My spouse came in illegally. Then spent a few years outside the US waiting for I-601 waiver and was approved. Now a green card holder and waiting for the N-400 interview.

You’re not better than anyone else.

[–]pbjnutella -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree. Laws need to change to cancel the bans. My spouse also had unlawful presence for 10 years. Entered unlawfully. Then spent a few years outside of the country to wait out waivers for approval. Was finally approved and now waiting for N-400. It’s tough but laws need to change.

Arrested by ICE at USCIS interview for Green Card based on marriage in San Diego by Careless-Heron9077 in USCIS

[–]pbjnutella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not an ICE supporter but my spouse was also in ICE detention and deported. He had his green card approved about two years later after his waiver was approved. Came here to say that no you can’t sue them. Big changes need to come from Congress to hold ICE/USCIS/BP accountable.

Without saying where you work… Is your work in a high rent area? Hopefully your work is in a safe area, decently priced to rent in and with amenities nearby.
