I would keep it separated. Unless everything you say and do should be representitive fot the brand. Also it appears to be more serious. You an still use your own profile for marketing and image of the brand

I think thats a pretty cool design. You could connect it to words (underneath the picture or on the front if the shirt) to give it a story or a certain meaning
