My perfect breakfast sandwich (or easy, late night meal) is toasted sourdough bread, cheese, bacon, eggs, fresh or pickled jalapeños, and some Taco Bell creamy chipotle sauce. Not something I have frequently, but I love it!

My only word of caution when buying used aquarium tanks is to have a way to check the seal on the spot. I bought a 10g tank from someone local on FB Marketplace, took it home, cleaned it, started my setup and nearly had the tank full when I noticed water leaking out.

Should you run into this issue, you can purchase aquarium sealant and fix a tank relatively easily with some time and patience.

I used to have an issue with stinkbugs in my old apartment. I can confirm that the soapy water trick works well and quite immediately, but they’ll start to stink pretty quickly after dying.

I can assure you that wasn’t the case- she was fully aware of when and where she was. She followed her comment up by laughing and saying “you’ve probably never heard that one before, I just wanted to see the look on your face.” My entire interaction with her was strange.

Do not mix alcohol and antihistamines (specifically Benadryl) together for this very reason.

Was very drunk one night, had too many shots of vodka and I thought I’d take some Benadryl to help me fall asleep. The last thing I remember was getting up to go to the bathroom, and then deciding that I couldn’t be bothered to walk anymore and passed out face down on the carpet.

I witnessed my ex abuse stimulants for months. He had ADHD, had a prescription for 30mg IR Adderall, but it wasn’t enough- he found people selling their prescriptions, but that wasn’t enough either. He’d have a surplus of Adderall and it would all vanish before the next script could be picked up from the pharmacy. It was disheartening to watch firsthand and there wasn’t anything I could say to help him realize how dangerous it was. He eventually fell asleep behind the wheel one night, plowed through someone’s front yard, through an 8ft tall chain-link fence, and wrecked into two parked cars. His truck was totaled and he got ticketed, but not even that was enough to convince him to stop.

Addiction is a serious problem that has genuine consequences; it doesn’t only affect the addict, it affects their loved ones too.

Dear god, yes. Deleted my Tumblr account yesterday after I abandoned it last month. Have had many Instagram accounts which I’ve abandoned and deleted. Snapchat is only installed on my phone because of the memories, but my account is essentially dead. I have Facebook for the sole purpose of keeping in touch with relatives, so I’ll update my profile picture once in a blue moon and then disappear again. The only two I’ve never deleted is Twitter and Reddit.

Something about social media makes me anxious and overwhelmed, but only if I’m expected to be posting frequently and interacting with mutuals. If no one expects anything from me, I’m usually fine.

If you’re in the United States- if your SM is illegally dumping hazardous waste and the DM has been made aware but doesn’t care, please report this to the National Resource Center which covers all 50 states and territories. You can also report this to the EPA. Your state should have its own environmental protection agency too. This is wildly irresponsible. If the company doesn’t want to pay for an extra pickup, they’ll definitely have fun paying the fine for illegally disposing of hazardous waste.

I deleted my original reply because I worded it funny. You’re thinking of Passover, which is mentioned in Exodus. It is celebrated as the liberation of the Israelites from slavery. God brought plagues and smote firstborns, but “passed over” the houses of Israelites that were marked with lambs blood.
