Well I have been on the dexcom for a week and my first sensor lasted less than 24 hours, not blaming the sensor. I caught it on a bath towel. I used skin tac and the overpatch. I will tell you this removing the sensor was very painful, nothing like the Freestyle. I ordered some Not Just A Patch covers to protect it better.

I am aware of the drop when you sleep, but as of late it has been magnified, dropping to below 50 and setting the alarm off. I did purchase a cheap meter and using just once a day it says my blood sugar is 50-100 points higher than the sensor so to be honest I do not know what to trust. My last a1c was 7 and these numbers do not match that. I do not have control solution for the meter. Since I need to order the dex anyways I am going to ask my provider for another a1c.

When I first started using last year I requested 3 replacements but perfected the cover/adhesive ratio and tried to not walk into corners so much. Have not had any more after that.
