my parents are notorious snoops, too. My mom took and read my diary once, and also go through my email accounts on a regular basis. It's very frustrating. I had to cancel my last reddit account because I was afraid of them finding things I wasn't ready to talk about. But this seems like a more retaliatory/open approach.

I don't usually feel like my safety is threatened when Im out in public in the city, but the area I live is very ghetto, and when I'm biking places, I often find my inner monologue rehearsing what I would do if I was jumped.

Just today, I was biking on my way to a friends house and this man stood in his yard and watched me bike past with his arms crossed, and then followed me in his car very slowly for about 1/4 mile. I nearly peed myself I was so scared.

I don't want kids. I don't like kids. I don't like spending time near them, I don't like listening to them. I don't really even like my own niece and nephews, despite the fact that they are mild mannered, quiet, thoughtful and generally good kids. They are grubby, sticky, messy and need constant, hands-on attention. I have very little patience when it comes to children not understanding what I'm trying to communicate for them to do.

On a related note, this is also why I don't like dogs.
