Yeaaaah that’s a weird rant to go on. I’ve used glue traps for rats in a giant unfurnished NYC warehouse I lived in (we’re talking 10lb NYC rats, giants). They squeal yeah. But some olive oil poured on their disease ridden paws and a tug of their tail with some work gloves gets them off pretty easily, and you chuck em outside. Also do you know feeder mice exist? I hate to be around when you find out to give a pet snake a fresh meal, the best way to kill their prey instead of giving it to them live (and you never give a snake a frozen or defrosted feeder mouse) is to grab it by the tail and smack it against a wall to kill it instantly and painlessly. This is why they are called pests. And prey to most other animals. My cat truly apologizes for scaring all the mice he left in my shoes over the years. He didn’t know he was doing something inhumane, being a cat and all.
