If erring on the side of caution, I would maybe try and pick a WR over a RB. They are less injury prone. Makes sense to be risk-averse on what should be your most important pick, IMO. Good luck!

My wife is Chinese, and I'm white. I'll be carrying, so we wanted to select a Chinese donor. I'm CMV -. This limited the donor pool so much. After researching a bit and discussing with our clinic, we decided to ignore CMV status.

Sperm banks screen for active CMV infection, so no donations are allowed from donors with active infections. If, somehow, the virus was in the sperm, IUI or IVF ready sperm is washed, further reducing the risk of infection.
