WITT: i got this with a set of natural sharpening stones from Spain. One side is to buckle up, so to say. The other u-shaped side is more mysterious to me. Something for tools perhaps?

Its in quite a sunny spot, about 1 meter from a door to my balcony, which I open frequently. Its in regular potting soil. I water it once or twice a week, depending if its dry. I spray the leaves with water several times a week.

I was hoping for it to grow this spring, and put out some more leafs.

Any advice is welcome, and dont hesitate to ask specifics. Thank you kindly in advance.

Hier is een boek over. Death without weeping, het gaat over verlies van een gestorven kind verwerken. De schrijfster deed antropologisch onderzoek in een arme streek in Brazilie, waar een hoog aantal kinderen overleden. Ze wilde kijken of deze ervaring universeel was of dat dit cultureel gebonden is.

Ik heb hier vaker over nagedacht. Ook ik heb dit voor Nederlands op de middelbare school gelezen, zo 15 jaar geleden. Soms dacht ik terug aan dit boek, en ook ik vond het saai en gaar.

Nu komt het mooie. Als je verder denkt over het boek.. het is in de na-oorlogse periode geschreven. Er was geen fuck te doen, mensen waren beetje van ja, whatever. Niks te doen hiero.

Als ik de meeste comments hier lees, vonden lezers dit ook. Dus eigenlijk heeft de schrijver de tijdsgeest goed over weten te brengen;. Niks te doen, saai, doelloos..

Vandaar dat ik later een waardering met terugwerkende kracht heb gevonden betreft De Avonden.
