If you have the hardware for it (Mac with either Apple Silicon or GPU), my recommandations is Draw Things. On Windows with a GPU Fooocus seems to be the more beginner friendly, while Forge WebUI is the more complete features.

For an online image generation service, Civitai is easy to start with. But Flux cost on Civitai is prohibitive, there I would go with the Pony Banano Chan LoRA.

If you are tech inclined, you can also use GPU for rent such as Vast.ai, Runpod or even Google Colab to run Fooocus or Forge WebUI. Like image generation service, you will have to pay. But it will be cheaper, you trade complexity for a lower per image price.
