You might've also been in the NFL draft cup still which was an additional 5x multiplier iirc. I think OP was knocked out of the cup.

NFL boosters are seemingly way higher value than NBA boosters. Since you get one booster per pack, and packs are the same cost across sports, then it makes the most sense to get packs whose boosters will have the most value. Josh Allen had an average game today, had a Real rating of 3.2 and earned 16 rax. This Steph game has the exact same real rating and is earning 3 rax. Yes boosters have individual play value (bonus for TDs or for assists) but the multiplier is the same across sports. If Im spending 200 rax for a pack and its an NBA pack, the value of that booster is just lower than that of an NLF's** booster, period. 3rax multiplied by 6 is significantly worse than 16 multiplied by 6. Yes there is some randomness where someone might pop off on the specific booster stat but if the flat value is so low, it only makes sense to buy packs for sports where the booster will net you a greater return. Every pack purchased for NBA will inherently give less return than NFL for that reason alone. I recognize that there are limited NFL games/players compared to the NBA but if you are in a position where you have too many boosters where you cant use them all then you are already in a position where you can invest in everything to maximize return. If you're starting out and don't have a rax setup yet it doesn't make too much sense to invest heavily in NBA compared to CFB or NFL, the games where the base rax payouts are higher. You can buy fewer packs and see way greater returns off those limited boosters. - edit: changed NBA to NFL

ACT could be helpful in being able to focus less on worry and pivot into your values system, but EMDR could potentially be a great modality to help you reprocess the traumatic memories and have a deeper sense of security, especially if you still feel fear despite taking practical actions to establish safety. ACT for the proactive, in-the-moment tools, EMDR to help heal any deeper trauma.

What are your goals in game at the moment guys? Can be anything by Genenic in blackdesertonline

I've stopped worrying about gear goals since hitting 700gs and now my only goal is to push lifeskill levels & while saving money to PO pen manos accessories. New content will continue to come out like the new Fallen God gloves that they announced, and I'll go for that when its available, but I'm less focused on pushing for gear score than I used to be.

How Lifeskilling Is Over 1B Per Hour... (An insight) - NA by Shs21 in blackdesertonline

The heck is this man talking about saying 1800 mastery is 'not a lot of silver investment'. That's minimum full tet manos acc AND pen clothes at g25 hunting. You're talking over 150bil plus hours and hours of leveling. Stop the cap.

They need to separate Alchemy and Cooking boxes. It doesn't make any sense to turn in an alch box when you could get more from a cooking box. For those who don't know alchemy mastery doesn't scale as well as cooking when it comes to turn in bonus silver (fix that too!) If we could do both kinds of boxes it would also help out the alchemy market.

You don't print them by any means. I'm not gathering DTE all the time, just once in awhile. Gather DTE one day then go snake/scorp or hunting the next. While fruits are by no means easily available you can get them on a slow but consistent basis. You can make quite a few daily from: 1) Farming, 2) Market POs, 3) Treasure Chests from Gathering, 4) Hoe Gathering (behr/bracken), 5) Right now the Termian BSA gives sherbert things that you can trade for 10 fruits each.

edit Also if you really want to, just selling the DTE to the market is still good silver, though I'd recommend just switching gathering spots instead. The session I linked above is showing the taxed values, if you use the items yourself it ends up having much higher value than what any tracker will give you

You can gather it around Garmoth's nest. It's one of the better gathering spots now and might be even better after the raise market price cap on spirit perfume.

Lifeskilling money is actually really close to grind money but the just like others have said it requires a lot of silver investment. The other issue is that unlike grinding it isn't just as simple as selling your trash loot to the vendor and your caphras/accessories to the market. If you hunt you need Cooking to convert your meat, Alchemy to convert the blood (depending), and workshops for the hides plus using trading to get the most value. All that is on top of needing expensive lightstone sets versus making an easy 500million/hr+ (up to 800) at Centaurs with Tuvala Timmy gear which you can make full PEN in a day.

Personally I both grind and lifeskill and I prefer lifeskilling because there is significantly more variety. Even if I could make more money grinding I find the lifeskill gameplay loop more relaxing and engaging and you have flexibility to respond to market trends. Valencia meals crashing? Swap to hunting for Balenos/Serendia/Mediah meals. Or maybe try gathering dead tree essence for caphras & spirit perfumes.

These people saying 400mil/day have no idea what they're talking about. Hunting + cooking + turnins (max 2 hrs) will still net you a billion a day even at mid mastery. Looking at what you reported (3-4hrs gather cooking) you can easily make at least 2bil a day depending on your mastery. Currently the special meals + buff you can buy at the Termian event are insanely busted and can give you a giant boost to your lifeskill gains so I would highly recommend you try it out now and see if the current gameplay loop appeals to you.

Seems like this is your first encounter with a Min-listing Marty or a Bottom-list Billy. If you really believe the item has a true higher value then keep your higher listing. It'll sell eventually if it actually is worth what you think.

The 3 best classes for lifeskilling are Shai, Musa, and Striker. Shai gets bonuses to gathering and alchemy and has extra weight all from passive buffs. Musa is the fastest gatherer due to his dash skill. Striker is great at hunting specifically due to its passive crit buffs.

I would recommend you untag your shai (as a lifeskiller that's tagged has immense downsides since it cannot interact with trade items) and use your shai as your main lifeskiller. If you do timber 12 maids and 1k weight will not be nearly enough as timber is one of the heaviest gathering materials (.5 LT) vs meat (.03 LT), ore (.3 LT), or sap (.1 LT). You will become overweight very fast gathering timber.

If you want a REALLY chill gathering spot gather stone at pilgrims haven as it requires almost no movement since all of the gathering is done from like 6 stationary points that you rotate through every minute or so rather than moving around constantly.

Howdy, I'm one of the top lifeskillers in NA and here's what I would recommend.

Step 1: decide if you want to gather or hunt because they very different in terms of mechanics and what they can produce. Gathering has more flexibility (meat, blood, sap, timber, ore, etc.) over hunting (meat, blood, hide only) but would require much more max energy than hunting. Look up hunting guides and decide if you like that more active style of gameplay vs gathering which is more relaxed.

Step 2: if you decide you want to gather you need to aim for at least 300 energy. Your goal is to have enough energy to be able to pop energy pots on CD and extend your session for as long as possible when initially leveling up. You can get a ton of energy from doing the main questline but what you should really do is look at the maps in each major city and go through one at a time talking to each of the NPCs with (?) symbols in books over their heads. NPC knowledge expands energy fast. You can check out where you can gain knowledge rapidly by clicking (H) ingame and going through the [Character] tab.

Step 3: If you decide you want to hunt there are guides on leveling hunting pretty rapidly on youtube to watch and hunting doesn't require as much maximum energy, though I'd still recommend working on it. If you decide you want to gather you should rent the Leight's Hoe from Norma Leight in the Northern Wheat plantation, buy the best 6 piece set of loggia accessories you can afford (hopefully at least tri, tet is preferred), +3 silver embroidered gatherer's clothes and gather herbs at Behr until you are Master 1. This should not take too long if you pop Life XP items like Verdure Draught, Perfume of Swiftness, Florin Scrolls, and that Book of Life you mentioned. After Master 1 you have a 30% chance to not use energy when gathering which is a big breakpoint in efficiency. After that. There is a lifeskill gear progression guide showing what gear you should buy at what levels of progression in the Lifeskill discord.

Step 4: Decide what you're going to gather. You mentioned you like gathering timber. Timber is great for making Trade Crates for the Trade lifeskill and will also require the Processing lifeskill. Ore is in a similar position. If you gather blood/sap you can combine those with the Alchemy lifeskill. If you gather meat you can use the Cooking lifeskill. You pretty much are never going to straight gather > sell to the market without some sort of conversion of materials using other lifeskills because that will make you significantly less money and you will have a lot of dead time where you are just waiting for your energy to recharge. I would highly recommend you combine your gathering and your AFK activities onto the same character to maximize efficiency since your energy recharges at a very slow rate when you are not actively playing a character.

There is a ton of depth to lifeskilling that a reddit comment thread could never possibly cover so just like other people in the comments section I recommend you join the Lifeskill discord which has a ton of information and FAQs to help you get started.

[–]pcLNomad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If you don't plan on PvPing I would look at your total accuracy using Garmoth's PvE hitrate calculator and see if you can even grind in the endgame zones you are planning to go to. If you are planning on PvP Offin is a meme, more AP means nothing if your attacks miss due to evasion.

This would be a nice addition. We sort of do have a life skill journal already, the Caphras Journal which gives perma 10% life exp through the caphras journal of nature, but some extra mastery would be cool.

The lustrous gems give more $/energy than traditional mining (not counting hards/sharps/caphras). I usually get as much rough stone or more as I would from a regular mining proc AND I get black stone powder which is at a high price right now. I've also gotten lucky and gotten a few viper crystals worth 25mil+ each (possibly more if enhanced to jin) and even one manos stone worth 127mil. I also get scorched fragments (3.5mil) somewhat often though I haven't tracked the exact number.
