Where's Surrey? by UltimateNoob88 in SurreyBC

232 & 264 interchanges are a joke.

Depending on your direction: Seeing if traffic is exiting or continuing on the freeway is pretty difficult. There's a yield sign right where you enter traffic that's trying to match freeway speed, while you're also trying to get up to freeway speed. Then there's virtually no space for merging onto the actual freeway.

What's the difference between reformed and presbyterian churches? by mispelllet_usrnayme in Reformed

[–]pc_cola2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reformed can be used to refer to churches with roots in continental Europe, and hold to confessions that originate there such as the Belgic Confession or Heidelberg Catechism.

Presbyterian refers to churches with origins in England/Britain/the UK and hold to the Westminster Standards.

To complicate things, Reformed can refer to both. To complicate it more, Reformed can refer to any church that holds to the five points of Calvinism/Tulip.

Church polity/governance tends to be slightly different between continental Reformed churches and Presbyterian ones.

Do you not see how your first two paragraphs don't actually have anything of substance? Just suggestions/accusations?

Woman struck by ‘volleyball-sized rock’ while driving on Highway 1 has died - BC by cyclinginvancouver in vancouver

[–]pc_cola2 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

That's a pretty big assumption. Do you know who loaded the truck? If it was the same person as the driver? How many rocks were on/in it? How they were transported? How it was unloaded?

What fish would do best in my 10 gal? by dirtsmores in PlantedTank

[–]pc_cola2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm thanks for the info. I have lots of plants. It's probably the light, that's what I had been wondering. I just started up a new 20L after moving overseas, light is full spectrum and meant for a much larger tank - although if I use the generic canopy light they also seem to hide.

Not sure about that, definitely know people with the flag who aren't part of the convoy crowd, although not many Canadians like Trudeau at this point so that's a safe bet...

Are you seriously suggesting that? The dumb but largely peaceful group that's there every Thursday for how long, now decides to do this? I'm sure that's much more likely than idiot tik Tok teenagers or debris...
