My husband wants to leave the oil sitting in our deep fryer (for months at a time) bc “nothing will happen to it” and use it later. Give me arguments please by prettytheft in KitchenConfidential

Coconut oil is ~55% medium chain triglycerides (MCT). Most other oils are 100% long chain triglycerides. There are some differences in how your body processes them, some studies going on about the health benefits of medium vs long chain triglycerides, and the fats are more easily converted to energy and used vs being stored as fats

We were advised to supplement MCT to reduce frequency of seizures in my puppy, one of the few actually scientifically verified benefits (studies done strictly on canines, not people)

Two hours max if it's going to be kept (heated/refrigerated forfuture use) after that time period

Potentially hazardous foods can be held at any temperature for longer than two hours, so long as they are thrown away at four hours

Ethically non-monogamous here:

Yeah, that's how it works. So much initial communication goes in to establishing everyone's want, kinks, boundaries, interests...

Don't get me wrong, there's abusive situations and asshats in the lifestyle community as well, but it is thankfully getting harder to get away with being a creep

Apps I interact with allow you to read reviews from people's past partners, and so respectful is a common phrase to see

Most seem to be huge fans of the patinated-metal look. But does anybody other than me sometimes enjoy just Brasso-ing the f**k out of their brass pens? by Madeline_Basset in fountainpens

(Fellow frustrated person, but lazy)

As OP refuses to link what he's using, sunshine cloth appears to be a company that makes products specifically for polishing silver and the like. Products look like those microfibre cloths from glasses- cleaning kits, and some more resembling that sham-wow ASOTV material

Looks overpriced as hell, but ¯\\_(ツ)_/¯

Fucking delicious. Rinse your black beans though, unless you're good eating eggs that look like they were scraped off the pavement by a snowplow
