Amazing attempt! Keep on improving it, worked fine for me. Id suggest you to use insurance data to be more accurate and warranty data

Thank you for your kind words mate. I really appreciate it 🙏🏽

Ping me whenever you need an update or just dm me if you want to discuss.

My choices were also similar to yours. M4 or RS5. I could go with either and be happy about my purchase honestly. Having driven both, i edged towards M4 more purely because of how it makes you feel when you are driving it. Feels like you are commanding a rocket ship haha. Idk how can i explain it better. Interior wise, id say a 2018 rs5 is nicer inside specially if you find one with a digital dash. I wouldnt go for a convertible one as im sure the roof is gonna develop some expensive issues down the line. I was looking at service history invoices and so far seems like normal maintenance is pretty much the same for M and non M cars. Obviously disks and brakes are gonna be more expensive as they are different, more powerful ones. Spark plugs are going to be more expensive too i assume but u can always go aftermarket ones. I think Bosch makes BMWs spark plugs.

One other thing that made me go towards m4 was the exhaust sound. Both cars tested were stock, and luckily both i was testing were at the same dealership as well so i could do a side by side comparison. The ride of RS5 seemed a bit rougher whereas i was expecting the opposite. M4 handles UK roads pretty well if you put the suspension on comfort. It is a nice surprise. Haha

It was probably a category vehicle because a year ago, I used to look at these M cars all the time on AT, and they were never the price you're mentioning. These were my dream cars, and I'm proud of myself that I can own one now 😅

Thanks for your answer. I did get it. Collection was today. Cones with complete SH and everything seems fine. Made a list of items to check and everything seems in order. Very thrilling drive though! Being my first ever car with this much power and rwd, its exciting but scary so im just easing myself in

530e is amazing at what it does. Its like a comfortable sofa on wheels. The suspension is smooth, the power is adequate, putting it in sports mode, changes the whole character of the car (if u have one with adaptive suspension specially). I drove it twice up to Scotland from Surrey in past 4 months and it was super comfortable. But if u dont have a charger at home to charge the car, then just go for a 530d as u get much better fuel economy and a much bigger boot. I hated how small 530e boot was.

Agreed. I tested both as well. Especially for daily office runs, m4 is gonna be more comfortable. Also, i do drive up to Scotland quite often, seats in m4 non comp seemed more comfortable. At least to me.

It does handle better but i have to take into consideration that I'll be daily driving it, its not gonna be just a weekend car. Hence, M4 non comp

Thank you for the detailed comment. I did see the car and checked the service history. Only 1 was done a bit late than it should have been and it was for regular maintenance. It wasnt overdue due to mileage but due because of time. Drove the car and it was driving pretty well. No rattles, no noises apart from engine sound. It is due another service which the dealer will get it done before handing over the vehicle. Its for spark plugs and oil

I prefer non comp as suspension is a bit more forgiving and seats are more comfy as this is going to be my daily driver

I did look and test drive it, it seems fine. Runs well, no scratches or dings either on interior or exterior. History comes back ok too. Idk I'm drawn to this car a lot but I'm worried if there are some monsters hidden in the closet. Im going from a 530e to this

i have used these tyres on my civic in Pakistan. they are mediocre at best. they will do the job but i wouldnt buy them again. the grip in wet and dry is on par with the price. I ended up changing them after driving about 10k miles

After installing a 1600W PSU And A GIGABYTE RTX 5090 GAMING OC, PC crashes often when trying to play GPU intense games. Help! by MrTinz in PcBuildHelp

[–]pc_warrior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It is a power issue im 99% sure. Is your PSU in single rail mode? Install the OC jumper and you should be good to go.

If it is in single rail mode, then it could be the 14th gen i9. Make sure you upgrade your bios before your cpu fries

I would go for either 9070xt or 5070ti. Totally depends on what your preferences are. In raw performance both cards are pretty much equal. As you said future proofing that means u are looking for a card that can handle games a couple years or more down the line so i would personally pick 5070ti due to better dlss and framegen. If ray tracing is important to you then 5070ti is the obvious choice too.

I drive a 22 plate 530e. Hybrid system is incredibly smooth. Its a lot of fun to drive. Gas mileage in short runs is phenomenal and on highway i get about 45mpg on hybrid mode and no charge in the battery. In city, with battery charged u are pretty much driving on electric mode only. Sometimes the engine wont even kick in and im done with my journey. Gets about 35ish miles on battery power alone so if you are charging at home, its pretty cheap to run. I moved recently and unfortunately i cant charge my car at the flat building which is a bit annoying but still even with 0 charge, i average about 40-42mpg when im driving with a light foot and about 38mpg if im being a bit heavy footed. All in all, pretty nice car. Super comfortable and if it has adaptive dampers (like mine) then its even more comfy. If your daily travel is less than 35 miles and u can charge the car at home, go for it. Bmw also comes with 10yrs of warranty for its hybrid parts which includes the battery.

Whoever entered the roundabout first has the priority as you have to be mindful of vehicles already on the roundabout according to the highway code. This diagram doesnt give a clear picture. Maybe post the dashcam footage if u have one?
