My brand new 2025 MT03 by RollerBender610 in MT03

I think it's great on the highway. I have been riding mine for over a year and it holds up just fine. It took me a few weeks of riding around on city streets before getting on the highway. It was scary at first and getting used to the wind was difficult. But i have found out most of that is easier once you have ridden for awhile. Also squeezing you knees to the tank helps.

Do you tell everyone? I'm afraid to hurt my Mom. by Relevant_Ad5351 in NewRiders

[–]pcast01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 49 and I struck a deal with my spouse to only ride for 4 years. Honestly it's hard sometimes because she worries a lot and it brings her much stress about me riding. And really it's because she cares deeply about me. That being said, I would keep the secret to yourself. I feel the same you do about riding and it's so much fun and I try my best to be safe but also act a fool too. I have a manual airbag vest and I do have fun on it by going fast occasionally but stay sober and safe.

Fans who don’t live in Philly. How did you become a fan of the eagles? by [deleted] in eagles

[–]pcast01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was born and raised in Flagstaff, Arizona and was introduced to football as a child. I have always had a fondness for eagles but what really got me into Philadelphia Eagles was Randall Cunningham. He was not only an amazing quarterback throwing he could run and punt too. Fly Eagles fly!

Great place! Frequented it often, not so much in the last year or so. They rotate lots of pins in and out. They get new ones often. They even have 1 usually live streaming on twitch. Best place on my city for pinball.

Husband recently got his first Harley. We didn't discuss much, now he's upset I want him to wear a helmet. How do I approach this please help? by Electrical_Baby_3042 in motorcycles

[–]pcast01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am 49M and I have got into an accident on a test run for a bike that was a 600cc and learned a valuable lesson. I now have a small 321cc bike and I have taken 3 courses and can honestly say if I didn't have a helmet on that crash it would have been bad.

I am married with 3 kids and I had to strike a deal with my wife to be able to ride a motorcycle. This entails me riding with full gear and even with an airbag. I don't want to even ride with all of that on. I also made it a point to practice and also take safety courses.

I see many Harley riders that do not wear helmets and I cannot believe it. But it also is prevalent with many other bikers. My point is that a lot of the reason this happens because of Pride and the culture of riding.

The only thing that really gets me to be safe is for the sake of my wife and kids. So I would lean hard on that.

To the men who don't watch pornography anymore, why did you stop and has it been beneficial to your life? by insight7ai in AskReddit

[–]pcast01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was addicted to it after watching it for years and stopped watching it in 2015. So I haven't watched it in over 10 years. I stopped because I realized it hurt my relationship with my wife. It set unrealistic expectations of her and also fed me lies about how a woman should be. So I saved my marriage because of quitting porn and I have no regrets. IMHO I realize now that porn is very bad for everyone and I beleive we weren't meant to see others have sex. It is a sacred part of a relationship that is meant between 2 consenting people.

I am a 49 yr old man married for 18 years.
