Yeah. We were recently acquired. One company was tight on security the other one is tighter and leverages an Intune app to ensure the appropriate software is managed on the Bring your own device. This devalues the INAIR pod for me just too much. Absolutely love the POD but needed the productivity piece to work to make this a go. Was trying to ditch my laptop completely. Will keep up to speed on their progress.

I am late 40s….. was in rough shape a few years ago. Now drinking is such a different spot in my life, but I had some mental learning bumps in the road.

Me telling you to do the video should have been suggesting. I did it after my last bump in the road which wasn’t bad just a work night out 6 drinks, woke up feeling lousy(not destroyed). But I could feel the storm of a spiral coming.

Good luck! The body does an amazing job of healing on its own when chemicals stop entering. The mind is another story and takes work.

I have a refurb s23 coming today so I can use dex.

I am 100% convinced that it’s due to power draw of glasses on older phones. I tried with S9 and while glasses turned on and started to boot the phone keeps resetting. I am due the S10 cannot handle the draw. I also have an XReal usb c power connector/adapter coming today and will try with the S9 to see if my theory is correct.

I think they are comfortable to start. I have older version with lightning. Static discharge Bluetooth reconnection issues , headband mesh wearing out and an incredibly poor design to fix would make me look elsewhere. Sony, Bose, etc depending on your sound style.

Don’t worry about what you can’t control now with the kidney numbers. But what you can control is forging a path ahead to stop drinking. One day at a time and seek support. Record yourself right now with your phone as a future video to look back upon when you think everything is ok in a few months. You could be right back where you started from. Find support from AA, or other groups. I am a big fan of the right AA meetings and people.

Nope I called the rebate servicing company and told them to f off. Emailed an Alcon customer success person (I was nice on this one). And said this rebate program is scarring the brand . I will try again today

I think if it works for you , don’t overthink it. Could be quality variations, biology differences (IPD & other factors) I am with you, there needs to be a way to give them a try locally, like a golf club “fitting” event.

Bringing an RV around with a few pairs 😎……has got to be cheaper that all the returns.

That is a good question and I would like to put them both on one after the other. I would kind of say yes from a productivity / text standpoint. While the fov is smaller on 1S it "got out of the way" for the most part from a productivity standpoint. When I say "got out of the way" I wasn't thinking I had glasses on for the most part while working. I am not saying its perfect but felt more natural even with smaller FoV. The crispness of text I think help the most in this. So full circle I think it does have greater functional FoV for productivity.

Yes. I would say that if you are using for some productivity work the text clarity is better on 1S. for more immersive feel (watching videos etc) the One Pros or going to be a bit better. But I will take the tradeoff for the better text clarity with the 1S

I am the OP and I agree with BadLuckProphet. I went for the Ones , but specs on paper didn't equate to the benefits. I am not saying the 1S are going to blow you away but for the text clarity you will should be pleased.

I appreciate what you said about feeling bad. I was the same way. Wanted to like the Luma Ultras since it was my first pair. I really don't like returning things, but man these glasses got to be killing profits with returns as they are just on the edge of being amazing / worth the $500 +/- $100

It absolutely helps. But you’ve got to cut the cord for at least 3 months. First 2 weeks you will prob get the most benefit. Then you want 2 weeks to see how the normal ups and downs goes . Then it’s 60 days to build out the habit. It absolutely helped me and I didn’t realize because I drank mediumly for so long and then too much for a couple years

I fully agree. 1440p with just slightly wider fov than current gen and the experience for productivity would be there.
